Assessment of Knowledge, Judgment, and Skills
Assessment of Knowledge, Judgment, and Skills of diplomates is achieved by CertLink® or the Continuing Certification (CC) Exam. The CC exam is for diplomates who choose not to participate in CertLink®, or are participating in CertLink but do not meet the passing standard.
The required date of your next CC Exam shown below is the year in which you must pass the CC Exam if you are not participating in CertLink, or are participating in CertLink but do not meet the passing standard. You may take the exam 1 year before the required year, which gives you two chances to pass the examination without jeopardizing your CC status. There is no disadvantage to taking the exam early since your next exam date will be 5 years after the required exam date (not after the date you take the exam).
